Hyde County Touch-a-Truck Event

Join us on Ocracoke Island for a fun, family-friendly Touch-a-Truck event bringing together the friends and families of Hyde County!

Get an up-close look at the vehicles that help keep our communities moving and safe. Kids—and the kids at heart—will have the chance to explore fire trucks, ambulances, law enforcement vehicles, and more, meet some of the people behind the uniforms, and learn a little about what they do every day.

This event is all about community, connection, and giving our families a chance to see the equipment and people who serve Hyde County in a fun, relaxed setting.

Come climb, explore, ask questions, take pictures, and spend some time with your Hyde County community.
